Proposta pelo vereador S\u00edlvio Humberto (PSB), a Sess\u00e3o Especial \u00e9 um reconhecimento a institui\u00e7\u00e3o que criou o primeiro pr\u00e9-vestibular voltado para negros no Brasil e que atualmente desempenha diversos projetos voltados para educa\u00e7\u00e3o, principalmente para estudantes oriundos de escolas p\u00fablicas. O evento acontece no dia 12 de setembro, \u00e0s 18h30, no Plen\u00e1rio Cosme de Farias.<\/p>\n<p>Durante a solenidade, militantes do movimento negro, estudantes, professores e colaboradores v\u00e3o relembrar todo o hist\u00f3rico de pol\u00edticas de inclus\u00e3o criadas pela institui\u00e7\u00e3o e voltadas para a ascens\u00e3o da popula\u00e7\u00e3o negra. &#8220;Realizar mais esta homenagem, nesses tempos de retrocesso civilizat\u00f3rio, \u00e9 reafirmar as nossas resist\u00eancias, o compromisso com a nossa ancestralidade e que n\u00e3o descansaremos at\u00e9 quando formos necess\u00e1rios&#8221;, afirma S\u00edlvio Humberto.<\/p>\n<p>Sueli Carneiro, fil\u00f3sofa e militante hist\u00f3rica na luta antirracista \u00e9 uma das convidadas para a Sess\u00e3o Especial, que contar\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m com representantes da Secretaria de Promo\u00e7\u00e3o da Igualdade Racial do Estado da Bahia, da Secretaria Municipal da Repara\u00e7\u00e3o e das reitorias das universidades Estadual e Federal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A C\u00e2mara de Salvador vai comemorar os 25 anos de funda\u00e7\u00e3o do Instituto Cultural Steve Biko.
